We walk a path
in step we tread,
I do not see
no script is read.
I am to peaceful waters led,
on His breast I lay my head.
But when in pathways
dark and drear
in storms of life
or battles dread
don't walk behind
don't walk ahead
Remember what his Word has said:
I will guide you with mine eyes
I am your Lord
who hears your cries
I give you grace
I give you strength
to run this race
to go the length
until you see the Father's face
until you gain that eternal place
